So Apple’s on course to save the planet and the whale botherers are all happy now, right? Wrong. Greenpeace is still cross with Apple. How cross? Well, let me use this handy greenometer from their website to demonstrate. Yep, they’re sort-of-reddy-orange unhappy. And brushed aluminium? Really? How very 10.3.

I’m also guessing that even these faux-bark iPod cases wouldn’t make them happy. I wonder if they come in teak or mahogany?
Meanwhile, in the App Store, the randomness continues. iTabla is a free Indian drum app which quickly requires a $155 activation fee and appears not only to have been approved by Apple, but to still be available for your dubious downloading pleasure. Mazo, on the other hand, is an 3rd party Amazon-browsing app, which has been banned by Amazon itself. Wow. First they start selling digital music downloads, and now they’re banning apps from the App Store. Look out for the launch of the aMac any day now.
Well, looks like that’s it for today. American’s closed for the long weekend, so things are likely to be a little quiet on the news front.
